about me

hey, i'm bri! as mentioned, i'm a 27-year old musician, audio engineer, and am really autistic (positive) about roller coasters. music is my first and greatest passion. i'm currently in the bands brake run (shoegaze, guitar/vocals/primary songwriting) and bexley moms (seapunk/surf rock, guitar/vocals). i also had a stint playing bass in yes, yes, a thousand times, yes (midwest emo). my first project was saltlick, a softer emo project out of columbus, ohio, where i went to college. i've also released some hyperpop/electronic/weird stuff under the name reverb and try to continue that work with brake run interludes today.

i've always been a guitarist first and foremost. i picked it up and taught myself (had a few lessons here and there) at the age of 11, and i started creating my first recordings in my parents' basement at 16 from what little guitar diddles i could make. i picked up singing for my projects out of necessity - i actually think my voice is my weakest part - and it's just kinda stuck with me fronting bands since then.

i grew up as a kid loving everything about my local amusement park, kennywood. every summer we would sit down and watch "kennywood memories", and you'd always find me watching POVs of the rides on my ipod touch. it became a bit of a special interest over the years, as did roller coasters in general. i'm a coaster enthusiast in the way that i love viewing and taking pictures of them - they're true works of art and true feats of engineering... i don't even need to ride them tbh. my favorite is phantom's revenge, and my love for it has only grown since i first rode it. i'm really just a big kennywood fan as well. get to know more on my shrines page.

outside of my hobbies i get to spend my days with my lovely wife, kenzie, who i love dearly. we met six years ago on tinder and have been inseperable ever since - dating apps work folks! we made our home in my hometown, and i think i'm fully converted her to yinzer. shhh i have 3 siblings who are my BFFs, and my parents have 3 bernese mountain dogs who own my heart (and cover me in fur everytime i come over). uhhh idk that's about it about me, if you have any more questions shoot me an email or something.
